This flier gives an overview of Carnegie's Rural Programme in 2009.
The Rural Programme helps rural communities across the UK and Ireland to respond to and influence social, environmental and economic change. We work to ensure that rural priorities are fully recognised by decision-makers.
We do this by:
- Securing the practical demonstration of Asset-Based Rural Development
- Testing Carnegie's Petal Model of Sustainable Rural Communities
- Hosting a Community of Practice for rural activists and professionals
